Nick has been the Unit Leader at the CACFWRU since 2023. Prior to joining to Unit, Nick was a statistician for the US Fish and Wildlife Service. As a math guy with a fish passion, Nick loves using quantitative tools to answer important ecological questions that help conserve aquatic species and aid others in their management of fish and wildlife populations. Nick loves that his work is frequently based in river networks, and uses these spaces for his recreational time as well. When he’s not floating down a river with his family and friends, or wading in one, he loves to travel and get friends together for good food and company.
